MISSION
Our Mobile sustainable classroom program has a core aim to attract a diverse student-base and inspire future career pathways in STEM related fields through immersive, industry and university linked, hands-on engagements to students in areas which are often less served.
The core aim, to inspire future career pathways in STEM and to build a sovereign capability to attract and retain talent in STEM related fields of work.
Another core aim is to empower teachers, giving them the skills and resources to continue the education journey after the STEM lab moves on.
The strategy to accomplish this is based on the following key items:
Inspire the next generation of STEM leaders.
Attract a diverse student group for pathways into tertiary education.
Give students key economy 4.0 digital skills such as coding, innovation, design thinking etc.
Enable an environment where teachers & students can engage with leading STEM projects
The mobile classrooms come fully equipped with interactive touch screen displays, power outlets and seating for up to 16 students.
The Mobile classroom, once parked, opens up to include 2 large outdoor areas which can accommodate up to 48 students at any given time, with a large screen to deliver presentations and lessons.
The mobile unpacks into a large, teaching area with classrooms both inside and out, accommodating up to 144 students at any given time.
